When you choose to upload an image, document, or media file and attach it to a particular piece of content, the database holds that item in the system.
Where can I see the location of my images and files?
- Navigate to the Files or Media sections by clicking Shortcuts » All content » Media or Shortcuts » Media in your admin panel.
- Select the tab labeled Media. Files are still present from images and documents uploaded prior to the release of the Media Library in early December 2020.
- Clicking on the file name in the list will give you a preview.
If your media was added prior to the addition of the Media Library, then only a Site Manager can delete this for you by utilizing Fancy File Delete. Otherwise, if your media is in the Library, you can delete it from within the Media Library.
