National Center for Interventional Biophotonic Technologies (NCIBT)

Advances in light-based technologies, like those developed at the National Center for Interventional Biophotonic Technologies (NCIBT), bring forth an opportunity for more precise and timely assessments of tissue physiology, biochemistry and metabolism.  These assessments are critical in managing a great number of medical conditions including cancer, stroke, infection, trauma, and cardiovascular and degenerative diseases.
