Optimize your SiteImprove Dashboard for WCAG 2.1

In preparation for the accessibility compliance deadline in April 2026, we want to help you focus on the issues that are the top priority, namely Levels A and AA in WCAG 2.1. The settings suggested below will filter out issues of lesser importance, including heading levels, so you make the best use of your time before the stricter laws go into effect.

  1. Log into your SiteImprove instance.
  2. When you arrive on your main dashboard, look in the left panel and click on Accessibility.
  3. On the Accessibility Overview page, look in the left panel and click on Issues.
  4. In the main screen, locate and click on the Filters button.
    Customizing the Issues filter to narrow the conformance levels to only Levels A and AA.
  5. From its dropdown menu, locate the Conformance line and click its down arrow to show the rest of the menu.
  6. You will see the following options. Leave only Level A and Level AA checked.
    • Level A
    • Level AA
    • Level AAA
    • WAI-ARIA authoring practices
    • Accessibility best practices
  7. Click the Confirm button to apply your choices.
  8. Once your primary tasks are complete, you can return to this setting to add other issues back into your list by rechecking the other available options again.
