The Arcoíris Research Collective (ARC) centers the lives and relationships of sexual and gender diverse adolescents and emerging adults at the intersections of sex, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, and class. Mainly, we integrate developmental, minority stress, biological, and intersectionality theoretical frameworks to examine how interlocking systems of power and oppression conjointly initiate and perpetuate stressful life conditions that compromise biological stress processes and the psychological health of sexual and gender diverse adolescents and emerging adults.

The JWA Reading List provides focused reviews of publications important to writing assessment and contextualizes their relevance to writing assessment practitioners.

The Davis Humanities Institute fosters research and collaborations within and beyond the humanities and arts, empowering scholars, students, and communities to engage with the most pressing global challenges. We promote vital dialogue and partnerships that explore the cultures and societies of our home in the Central Valley, as well as our regional and international connections.
