CKEditor includes the ability to leverage AI to help you generate content or make modifications to existing content.
Access the AI Assistant
- From the WYSIWYG icon bar, navigate to the far right end and click on the three vertical dots to activate the Show more items submenu.
- Click on the first option on the left titled AI Assistant. This will reveal an additional menu with these two options:
- Generate with AI
- Modify with a prompt
Generate with AI
A window will appear that includes a field titled What would you like to ask or get ideas for?*. Type in your prompt and click the Generate button to initiate the process which will take several seconds depending on the complexity of your prompt.

Once the AI has completed its work, click on the Save changes to the editor button to move the text to the default WYSIWYG window, then click the Save button to save your work.
Modify with a prompt
Begin using Modify with a prompt by highlighting existing text inside of the WYSIWYG text field.
Navigate to the Show more items » AI Assistant and click on Modify with a prompt submenu option.
The AI will show you the Selected text to process followed by the Your instructions field where you can write in your prompt for how to adjust the highlighted text. Create your parameters, then click the Modify text button. Review the Response from AI and, when you're happy with the output, click the Save changes to the editor to insert the update text back into the WYSIWYG. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the page's Save button to finish.
