Change Log 10.4.3
In this latest update, we've added the following to SiteFarm
- RSS Feed now allows images
- A new checkbox is included called "Show images". If selected, the RSS output will now display an image IF one was included from the source feed. It's important to note that the images are delivered as-is, which means if the pixel dimensions and/or resolution is large, this will impact the performance and load speed of your page, especially if you're choosing to list several feed items.

- View Modes
- View modes are the combined result of the styles, settings, and configuration that control how a piece of content appears on your webpage. You may not realize it, but you work with view modes in SiteFarm all the time; a title, image, summary, and link to the content can presented in so many different ways, such as the Focal link, Marketing Highlight, and Tile block just to name a few. To help you really leverage these view modes and reduce the workload, we've introduced two new ways to incorporate them:
- Entity Content block - to help you make simple use of view modes on your site, we've introduced the Entity Content block, an in-line system block available in Layout Builder, that lets you select an existing page on your site and assign it a view mode. You can now easily make an eye-catching link to any page on your site.
Entity Content block documentation with demos - View modes with Custom views - Site Builders rejoice! The addition of view modes in views allows you to create dynamic outputs in Layout Builder by creating a Block display mode with a specific view mode attached. As an example, easily create a block output showing the three latest articles in a specific primary article category that look like Marketing Highlights or Posters.

- Fixes
- Image Banner block - If a long URL was entered into the Link field, the link would fail as the block would impose a character limit and cut off the URL after the limit had been reached. This has been fixed and our other blocks have also been checked to verify this was the only one experiencing this issue.
- Site Manager accounts missing when a new site is created in Acquia Cloud Site Factory - Several members of the Site Factory Client Group have reported that on clicking the site card's Login button after the site is built, they discovered they were authenticated, but not provided with the expected Site Manager role that is normally assigned. Our investigation showed that a recent update in a related authentication module was the culprit. We've reverted to the previous version of the module and confirmed in our tests that the Site Manager role is now being assigned again as designed. We'll continue to work on this issue and discuss it with Acquia so eventually we can eventually update the module once the bug has been fixed.
