Available list styles

Are you having trouble inserting a space before or after your list?

Take a look at our blog post that describes the problem and shows you how to use the Insert Paragraph Arrow feature to help you get around the issue.

Once you apply a list type—bullet or numbered—you have the option to apply an available style from the WYSIWYG style menu on the icon bar.

Steps to apply a style

  1. Either begin by typing text and then highlighting it to assign a bullet list or numbered list, or click one of those icons first and begin typing.
  2. Once complete, highlight all the list items to be styled.
  3. Use the Styles drop-down menu located in the second row of the icon bar, first icon on the left side, and select the preferred style to apply.

Steps to apply a style and include a link

  1. Either begin by typing text and then highlighting it to assign a bullet list or numbered list, or click one of those icons first and begin typing.
  2. Highlight the text that should include the link.
  3. Click on the sideways chain icon located in the first row, seventh from the left side.
  4. In the pop-up window, provide either the full URL (starting with https://) if you're pointing to a page OUTSIDE your site, or the relative path (excluding your domain, such as https://mysite.ucdavis.edu) and begin with the /, so you have a URL that looks like /mytargetpage or /resources/facilities. Click the Save button to finish this step.
  5. Once complete, highlight all the list items to be styled.
  6. Use the Styles drop-down menu located in the second row of the icon bar, first icon on the left side, and select the preferred style to apply.
