Revision messages

As of release 10.5.4, the Layout Builder system includes the ability to include a Revision message to note changes directly within Layout Builder. Previously, the only way to add a Revision comment would be to save the layout work and return to the default View and access the Revision log message from the Additional Options panel.

Access the Layout Builder Revision log field

1. Edit your page.
2. Click on the Layout tab.
3. Create your content as needed.
4. From the options tray located at the bottom of your screen, locate and click the icon in the lower right corner shaped like a triangle with an exclamation point inside. This will roll-up an extension of the tray.
   
5. Enter your message in the Revision log message field.
   
6. When finished, click on the Save layout button to return to the default View.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button to finish and save your work.
