The Event content type page allows you to create individual events that your SiteFarm site will then organize into an automated listing. Events that have expired will be removed automatically from your live site, though you will still be able to access these pages through Shortcuts » All content.
What should you use the Basic page content type for?
The Basic page content type is intended for content that doesn't change often, such as About pages or pages about administrative policies. It is also the primary page type for using Layout Builder to create more complex page layouts for homepages, major portal pages, or special campaigns.
The page interface you will most commonly use to input your content is the WYSIWYG, an acronym that stands for "What You See Is What You Get". Get an overview of what the icons mean and how to use this to your best advantage.
